Whether you’re coming for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, Orange Squirrel Lodge is the perfect choice. Our 2-bed lodge is cosy and beautifully decorated, with all of the amenities you need to feel at home.

The living space

The living room is the perfect space for you to relax after an adventure in the outdoors. The room has a lovely cosy lounge area with an electric fire and blankets for those chilly nights.
We also provide a variety of children’s toys, games, books and a smart TV for those rainy days. 

The bedrooms

Bedroom 1 is set up with a a double bed and bedroom 2 has the option of two singles or a king. For families of 5 we offer an optional trundle bed (see pictures). 

The kitchen and bathroom

Our lodge boasts a fully equipped kitchen including L’Or coffee machine, microwave, oven, and dishwasher, providing you with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal.

Dirty clothes? No problem, just throw them in the washing machine. Our bathroom features an electric shower over the bath, giving you the option to choose between a quick rinse or a relaxing soak.

The outdoor space

Enjoy the sunshine in our lovely garden. Equipped with a BBQ and picnic table, this is the perfect area to enjoy a summer’s evening.

If you are bringing your bikes or skis/snowboards you can store them safely in our Asgard storage shed (easily accommodates 4 mountain bikes). We hope to upgrade this in future to include charging points for e-bikes – watch this space!

Dog friendly

Aviemore is a great place to take your dog, with lots of trails and woodland walks nearby. We therefore allow one dog (max 20kg) at the lodge. We do ask you to bring your own dog bed, blanket and towels to clean those muddy paws before they enter the lodge. Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture and please do not leave them alone in the house. There is a charge of £30 per dog.
